Size of the stage and objects

Dear Ridermaker Team,

First of all, thank you for this useful and intuitive tool – it’s a great help in creating clear and well-organized stage plots.

However, I would like to share a problem that has been a recurring issue in my workflow, and I hope you might consider improving it in the future:

The grid lines on the stage area are meant to assist with accurate placement of instruments and equipment. But unfortunately, they do not scale in proportion when I change the stage size (e.g., from 5×3 meters to 10×6 meters).

The objects on stage (e.g., piano, monitors, mic stands) remain the same size visually, and the only thing that changes is the measurement labels on the border – not the scale of the objects or the grid. This makes it impossible to place equipment according to real-world dimensions, and undermines the very function of working with a scaled plot.

I believe that syncing the grid system and object scaling to the actual stage dimensions would greatly improve the precision and usability of your platform – especially for professional use.

Thank you for your consideration, and again: thank you for developing and maintaining such a helpful tool!

Warm regards,
Roman Grinberg, Vienna

Hi Roman, thank you so much for your suggestion!

The size of the items on the stage is proportional to the stage size. In fact, they are calculated based on a percentage of the total stage size and change size if the stage gets smaller or larger.

The total number of grid lines always remains the same because it only acts as a visual aid when aligning items. There are also three grid size options so you can adapt it to your way of working (screenshot attached).

This is how this feature is designed, but we don't quite understand your needs. Could you explain this to us with screenshots or a video?
