Search box in riders list
Hi, I love RiderMaker, it is really helpful.
However, I use the tool for many different events, each with many different bands.
I would love to be able to create a Show Folder and store the riders for that show in the folder.
It would make it much easier for me, rather than having a flat list of files.

Ridermaker is really great and I'm happy to make a suggestion. Like Neil, I also have to make riders for various projects and shows. I understand the idea of research and keeping the application simple, but in my case (and I think in others too) it would be very useful to be able to organize the riders in folders. Thanks.

Ok. We've changed the subject of this post to "Planned."
This feature will take a while to implement because we're currently working on two other large parallel features, so we can't specify a date for it at this time.

Hi Neil, thanks so much for your suggestion!
That possibility exists and we'll explore it, but creating a folder system could add complexity for other users, and we want to keep the app powerful but simple.
To solve this, we're considering creating a search field in the rider list. That way, if you name your riders like this:
"Event 1/Show 1"
"Event 1/Show 2"
"Event 1/Show 3"
“Event…
you could search for "Event 1" to list all the riders from a single event. What do you think about this?

Hi, I totally get it. Keep it simple; the search and the event would be a good idea.
I look forward to hearing from you in the future.
