Add outputs to channel list

Would it be possible to have a seperate channel list for inputs and another for outputs?

This would make it more easy to know what output ports should be connected for monitor speakers, IEMs and the main speakers.

This hopefully can allow to label channels with more than just a decimal number. Like MAIN1.

To create return channels like for monitoring and FOH I have just expanded the channel list with the required channels and renumbered them. Between the input and return list I left one channel blank and labeled it return. works fine for me now

Perfect, René, that's a simple way to do it in the same channel block.

However, there's now also a specific feature that allows you to create a second channel block (OUTPUTS) dedicated to outputs (screenshots attached)

This would be considered essential, as any FOH needs input/channel numbers and outputs.

We're evaluating the possibility and will likely include this specific feature in the future, but we need to decide how to implement it so as not to affect users who don't want to use it, and we don't have a planned date for its development.

At the moment, you have several options to do what you need within the channel listing (you can see the details in the reply to Arjen de Vries in this same thread).

Agreed! Monitor outs, talkbacks, or drivelines for when a touring act has their own console and just wants to send L/R/C/Delays/Subs to the venue FoH mixer.

Hi Arjen, this is a topic that has been on our minds for some time now because if we were to include a list of departures, we would somehow force all users to use 2 pages for their rider and most prefer to have everything on one sheet.

We'll think about it a bit more and see what would be the best way to implement it to keep it powerful but very simple.

A manual option for now is to write that list of departures in the footer text.

We're still thinking about this topic and any ideas from users are welcome in this regard. Thanks!

Thank you! A simpe way would maybe be allowing to change the number field in more than a number. Like IN1, IN2. That way someone could just add OUT1 as well etc

We can think of 2 ways to achieve something similar to what you propose:

        1. Remove the number and write everything you need in the text field (we send screenshots)

        1. Also eliminate the number and create a custom column specific to IN/OUT.

Some TIPS that may help you:

        • To create an empty row, delete the number but type a space in the channel text field: The row is displayed in the PDF if the text field contains something (and the space is content).

        • In the channel, when you click on one of the custom fields you can select a value from the drop-down list but you can also type text directly with your keyboard.

Can these ideas help you? Tanks!
